An OA Moment, Circle of Life-Kids Perspective
One day, we were observing my Shamrock plants. As I was picking the dead ones, I was explaining to her that we have to remove the dead ones to make room for the baby shamrocks. My 4 year old daughter said in her little voice,"Oh Mom, this is like the circle of life." I was so surprised but I wasn't sure if she knew what she had really said. She then proceeded to explain the Lion King movie to me the adult. We had been watching the Lion King movie together so I could monitor what she saw. Little did I know she got the whole movie. I mean totally got it. I mean how Ordinarily Amazing is that. Our kids “get” so much more than we give them credit.
