My OA Gift, Unexpected Delight
I grabbed the mail rushing inside, hardly noticing what was in the pile. Then the box caught my attention. I wasn’t expecting anything. A quick mental check- no online orders, no birthday, no special occasion. It was from a company called Ordinarily Amazing- never heard of it.
I opened the package, found the chocolate box inside with the beautiful bright raffia ribbons around it and a card read, “BE. LIVE. DREAM. HONOR. You are Ordinarily Amazing.” Me? Who is this from? The box had twelve beautiful colored lifestones. Each stone had an inspirational word. I sat there for twenty minutes just holding them and shuffling them in my hand. How unique. The gift was from my old college roommate. We spoke once or twice a year. There was no special occasion. She just wanted to tell me that she thought I was Ordinarily Amazing. Now I ask you, is there any greater compliment? I will never forget it.
